USER LIMITED WARRANTY
Subject to the terms and conditions herein, JST Technology Sdn
Bhd (herein after referred to as JST) offers a standard warranty for
all products under the brand name of PowerKinetics (herein after referred to as PK) against defects in electronics and workmanship:
Warranty Period for Malaysia:
Warranty period of two (2) years for UPS and one (1) year for batteries from the date of invoice applies to the models below:
1. Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)
2. BlackoutBuster Series
3. Marathon Series
4. US3000 Series
5. US8000TR Series
6. US8100 Series
7. TSP Series (600VA UPS system only)
8. PowerReactor1
Warranty period of one (1) year for AVR and UPS and batteries from the date of invoice applies to the models below:
9. US9001 Series
10. PowerReactor3 Series (PR3)
11. MR5Power Series (MR5)

Note:- |

For product item 1 to 7, send in warranty service applies. |

For product item 8 to 11, send in warranty service applies as well for module failure. |

|
iii. |
This warranty does not apply to batteries that are not supplied by JST. |

iv. |
Customer MUST present their proof of purchase in the event of a warranty claim to validate the warranty period. Otherwise, warranty claim will be at JST's discretion and warranty period will be base on manufacturing date. |

Dead On Arrival (DOA) of the products within 2 weeks from the date of purchase (as per proof of purchase) can be granted 1-to-1 replacement in the event of a claim at JST's discretion with the below conditions: |

(a) ) Present Proof of Purchase; |

|
|
(b) No Physical Damages; |
|
|
|
(c) All Accessories and Packaging must be returned in good condition. |
Warranty Period for Other Countries:
Warranty period of one (1) year for UPS and batteries from date of invoice. This applies to full range of PK products.
Terms & Conditions:
JST warrants that PK UPS will be free from defects in materials, workmanship and function to the published specifications. If in JST's opinion the UPS fails to function per the published specifications, or the defects are within the terms of this warranty, the PK UPS will be repaired or replaced at the sole option of JST. Any equipment sold by, but not manufactured by PK, eg batteries or software shall be warranted by the manufacturer of that equipment. This warranty shall not cover any software products included with PK UPS.
This limited warranty does not cover any PK UPS that is subject to accident, vandalism, misuse, abuse, neglect, unsuitable environment, unauthorized modification, incorrect connection, or misapplication. The user shall be invoiced for and shall pay for all services provided should it be determined, solely by JST, that the UPS has been subject to any of the above conditions.
In no event shall JST be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or other economic damages of any kind including claims of loss of profit use. JST's sole responsibility shall be to replace or repair PK UPS and in no event shall JST liability exceed the original cost of PK UPS paid by the user. EXCEPT AS SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED HEREIN JST EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY INCLUDING A WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
This Limited Warranty is the user's sole remedy and JST's liability to the user is contingent upon receiving full payment from the user for the UPS. Any advice furnished to the user regarding the use or application of PK UPS is furnished without charge and on the basis that it represents JST's best judgment under the given circumstances.
JST does not recommend the use of any of its products in life support applications where failure or malfunction of its products can reasonably be expected to cause failure of the life support equipment or significantly affect its safety or effectiveness.
